Nature and Extent of involvement
of faculty and students in academic affairs/ improvements : - |

Faculty members actively participate in Syllabus
preparation process of University for updation. Extra classes are conducted for syllabus completion.
Various courses on personality development, competitive
exam preparation, paper presentation contest, technical
competitions are organised in every department and also at
institute level and students participate in the same for their
development. |

Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance : - |

|
Committees are framed for various activities consisting
of students and staff. The
committees decide the activities of the year, prepare plans and
budgets. Plans and
budgets are sanctioned in the meetings of all HOD, Registrar,
Dean, Principal and Management.
After sanction, the activities are organised and executed
in a democratic way. |

Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance

|
Regular feedback is taken from the student for
various aspects twice each semester.
The total feedback is compiled and summary is prepared.
Faculty are informed about their feedback for necessary
improvement. Similarly
for other aspects, head of department, Registrar, Dean,
Principal and Management take up necessary corrective action for
improvement as per decision taken in their meeting.

Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students :

Minor grievance are settled by discussion among the
party, HOD, Registrar, Dean, Principal and Management depending
on its severity. For serious grievances the redressal mechanism
is operated as per the statute of Shivaji University, Kolhapur. |
