Biotechnology has changed the quality of life through improved medicine, diagnostics, agriculture and waste management, to name a few. Because the field of biotechnology is still relatively new, there is an abundance of unique opportunities to make new discoveries and introduce useful innovations to the world.

93 students are selected till April 2011 in various companies like Biocon, Millipore (USA), Reliance life science, Dr. Reddy’s Lab, Lupin pharmaceuticals, Biozene, Cognizant, Merck, TATA chemicals, Safyeast, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, TCS, Cryobank Pvt. Ltd, Omics group, etc.

More than 150 students are pursuing M.Tech./M.E./M.S./MBA in the institutes like IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Guwahati, ICT Mumbai, IBS Mumbai, Sussex University UK, University of  Manchester , UK, Boston University, USA, University of Houston, USA, University of Texas, USA, Rochester institute of technology, USA, Vanderbilt University, USA, etc.
