Computer Science & Engineering Department was started in the year 1999 with an intake capacity of 60 seats. It is one of the best equipped departments in terms of infrastructure & well qualified faculty which form the main assets.

The department has an elaborately networked structure with nearly 100 latest P-IV computers. Being a part of network the machines are connected through intranet, which enables instant information exchange & resource sharing. Excellent internet connectivity (4 Mbps leased line) opens up the whole world of opportunities and gives students’ unlimited reach in terms of access to vital information.
The department is up-to-date with licensed software's like Novel Netware5.0, Unix 5.0, Red Hat Linux Pro 7.0, SQL Server 2000, Visual Studio 6.0, Mat lab 5.x, etc.

The department has 7 well equipped laboratories which are open throughout the day for providing students unrestricted access for training sessions. Total investment in all the laboratories including hardware and software is about Rs. 56 lakhs.
