Kolhapur Institute of Technology’s (KIT) College of Engineering is one
of the pioneering Engineering Institute in Maharashtra on self finance
basis; started in 1983. KIT is awarded ‘A’ grade by Government of
Maharashtra in recognition of its overall academic excellence &
infrastructure. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and DTE,
Maharashtra. The Institute is affiliated to Shivaji University,
Kolhapur and is awarded the status of Lead College.
KIT is recognized for its excellent academic atmosphere and
educational culture. It is proud that all its B.E. Program is
ACCREDITED by National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of AICTE, New
Delhi. KIT has beautiful campus elaborately spread over 28 acres
enveloped in lush green surroundings.
KIT is the first and only Institute in Maharashtra offering Bachelor
of Engineering (BE) in Environmental Engineering since 1983 which is
accredited in 2005 and 2008. |
