Master of Engineering
(CAD/CAM/CAE)
The
course is designed to impart specialized knowledge in fields of
Computer Aided Design, Computer Aided Manufacturing and Computer Aided
Engineering. It includes courses like Advanced Machine Design,
Computer Aided Manufacturing, Finite Element Analysis, Manufacturing
System Design, Product Life Cycle Management, Industrial Automation &
Robotics, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Optimization Techniques
etc.
The course is also aimed at providing hands-on trainings for the
students to learn commercial CAD/CAM and CAE software packages. By
receiving thorough fundamental theoretical inputs and mastering real
CAD/CAM/CAE software, the student will be better equipped in handling
the real life problems in design and manufacturing. The student will
be able to work effectively as a member of CAD/CAM/CAE team in the
engineering industry.
The faculty will comprise of experts from industry and stress will be
given for working on real life problems.
